Video Rewind- Intro to Spain, by Chick Corea
Video Rewind- a tribute to the late, great Chick Corea.
Like many, I was hit a bit hard by the loss of the legendary Chick Corea. I’ve had this song as a staple of my solo set for years, and it seemed fitting to record this in the wake of Chick’s passing.
Video Rewind- I Want You (She’s So Heavy)
Here’s another one from the archives- check it out!!
Here’s another one from the archives. I came up with this arrangement to perform at Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp several years back for a faculty recital. The theme was Beatles, and there were so many wonderful performances that night- great times! Anyways, hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!
Unboxing the Mod Dwarf!
After a COVID-induced very long wait, the MOD Dwarf, a multi-effects and modeling unit has arrived!
After a COVID-induced very long wait, the MOD Dwarf, a multi-effects and modeling unit has arrived! I back this on Kickstarter in fall of 2019 and was intrigued by the ability to edit from a computer or tablet, and the small footprint.
Coming soon- video reactions and walkthroughs as I get more comfy with the unit! Until then- here is the unboxing and first impressions!
MCC’s ‘What The World Needs Now
This was a really cool project to be a part of, and the first project of 2021. The folks at the Milwaukee Children’s Choir are on their game for these kids!!
The combined choirs of MCC perform “What The World Needs Now’ from a May 15th Virtual Concert, featuring special guests Alan Muraoka from Sesame Street, The Hong Kong Children’s Choir, Anthony Murphy from Disney’s Aladdin, and more!
Video Rewind- Solo Bass Arrangement of Radioactive
A blast from the past here that’s been making appearances on recent solo and duo gigs- check out my arrangement of ‘Radioactive’, by Imagine Dragons for solo bass with looper.
A blast from the past here that’s been making appearances on recent solo and duo gigs- check out my arrangement of ‘Radioactive’, by Imagine Dragons for solo bass with looper. My video and audio abilities have improved a bit since then, so maybe it’s time for a revisit? Let me know!

Live Music and More Coming Up!
Updates!
Hello everyone!
Wow, it’s been a heck of a year- COVID closing everything down, teaching from home, then hybrid, a newborn in January… a lot of craziness! It seems like the world is starting to emerge from COVID shutdown, and gigs are trickling back. This means that I can finally emerge from the basement for some fun this summer! I’ve got a wide variety of stuff happening this summer, including directing Little Shop of Horrors at Slinger High School, the return of Big Spoon to summer stages, and some new focus on solo material and duo shows with Marcya Daneille, courtesy of the awesome talents of Allison Emm with Wisconsin Music Ventures. Please check out the tour section on this website, and keep your eyes peeled for more updates soon! This is shaping up to be a cool, if very different summer for music!
